Bet on your favourite

Are you afraid of gambling? Not a gambler and don't like to take risks? Your fears are unnecessary. Betting has been a part of horse racing since its inception, and it certainly doesn't have to involve any large sums.

The chance to bet on your horse and win is exactly what puts a good dose of excitement into the veins of racing fans. Try betting on one race and not the other and you'll instantly see the huge difference. Your feelings when you are drawn into the game through your bet and have your favourite is definitely different than when you don't bet.

Not knowing what to bet on? Be inspired by the opinions of the experts in the racing programme or on specialist websites, or simply make your own choice. For example, you might like the colour of the jersey, the colour and name of the horse or simply bet on your favourite number. There are no limits to your imagination.

How to bet

• We recommend buying the racecard, which contains information about all the horses and riders. The racecard is usually available at the entrance to the racecourse.
• Before each race you will see the horses in the paddock where you can see your favourite.
• Starting order can also be found on the website dostihyjc.cz
• Look out for betting offices marked TIPSPORT, you can also find the horses' names and starting numbers on the monitors at the betting offices.

What are the types of bets?

Basic types of bets:

WIN You win when the horse you pick wins the race.

1-2 You win if the horse you picked finishes first or second.

1-3 You win if the horse you picked finishes first or third.

1-4 You win when the horse you picked finishes first to fourth.

1-5 You win when the horse you picked finishes first to fifth.

Other types of bets:

DUEL - You bet a pair of horses against each other. You win if your horse is at the finish line first. Duels are not announced for all races.

AGAINST - You are betting that the favourite will not win. This bet is only made if the race has a clear favourite.

ACUMULATED BET - You are betting on multiple horses in one or more races. You win if all your picks are correct.

How to proceed at the betting office?

Give the following information to the operator in turn:

1. race number
2. horse number
3. type of bet
4. the amount of the deposit (minimum deposit is 10 CZK)

Bets are accepted until the start of the race, any winnings can be collected after the official results are announced or at any Tipsport branch at any time.
