Description

South Bohemia is a traditional venue for horse racing. Unfortunately, the original track under the castle in Hluboká nad Vltavou has been taken by time, so the only currently functional one is the one in the neighbourhood of the castle Kratochvíle. The pleasant environment, which evokes the atmosphere of the French racecourses, comes to life once a year, when 2 to 3 thousand spectators gather in the area to watch the flat and steeplechase races.
