The 104th Westminster Czech Derby was run in front of more than four thousand spectators, a record attendance for this season, on Sunday 23rd June at the Chuchle Arena Prague. Thanks to a crushing finish, the winner of the most prestigious classic test was the only foreign participant, Polish guest Naughty Peter, who was superbly supported by British jockey Richard Kingscote.

On Sunday 7 April 2024, the next racing season in the Czech Republic will start at the Chuchle Arena Prague. A total of 47 racing days at 9 racecourses will traditionally introduce the Tipsport Gomba Handicap.

Representatives of the Tipsport betting company and the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic have announced the extension of their exclusive partnership for the 2024 and 2025 racing seasons.

On Saturday, November 4, this year's racing season in Chuchle Arena Prague ended. The highlight of the derniere program, thirteenth part of the season, was the 7th PP Asset Management Prague Winter Favorite Stakes (1800 m, 100 ths CZK) for 2yo horses. It brought the easy winner, only one Czech bred horse in the field of five, Maxmilián, who won by seven lenghts and stayed unbeaten also after his second lifetime race.

The penultimate part of this year's metropolitan racing season took place in Chuchle Arena Prague on Sunday, October 22, with the very prestigious ultra-stayers race the 102nd President Stakes sponsored by Lokotrans, which was personally watched by the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. In front of huge crowd, the favourite Magic Merlin won in the new record time of the track 3:25,15 and completed the autumn stayers triple crown.

The eleventh chapter of this year's metropolitan season in Chuchle Arena Prague offered three top-races in its program, and horses whose jockeys wore pink colours won in all of them. Five-time Czech and eight-time Spanish champion Václav Janáček won twice for the Lokotrans stable, Tomáš Lukášek reached one win for the Statek Blata Český ráj stable before leaving for a winter engagement in Qatar.

The second Sunday in September is traditionally the only date of the year when, in addition to flat races, fences races are held in Chuchle Arena Prague. The highlight of the program, the EŽ Praha Gold Cup, as the longest fences race in the Czech Republic, has already written its own this year the seventeenth chapter and for the first time in its history the same horse achieved a third triumph. Favorite Sternkranz showed rocket acceleration in the end and achieved a clean hat trick.

On Sunday, September 3, the second half of this year's metropolitan racing season started in Chuchle Arena Prague. The highlights of the program were the last classic test of the year 78th PP Asset Management St Leger (Class A, 1 3/4m, 3yo c+f, 550 ths CZK) and the most important comparative test of three-year-old and older milers 45th CK Martin Tour Prague Stakes (Class A, 1m, 3yo+, 550 ths. CZK).

Traditionally, on the last Sunday of June, the most prestigious race of the season, the Czech Derby (local Gd-3, 1 1/2m, 3yo c+f, 2 million CZK) took place in the Chuchle Arena Prague. In front of a full grandstand, in a great atmosphere, the winner of its 103rd edition was dark brown filly Abha, trained by Ingrid Janáčková-Koplíková and excellently ridden by the Portuguese jockey Ricardo Sousa for the Statek Blata Český raj stable of the Dufek family.
