Traditionally, on the last Sunday of June, the most prestigious race of the season, the Czech Derby (local Gd-3, 1 1/2m, 3yo c+f, 2 million CZK) took place in the Chuchle Arena Prague. In front of a full grandstand, in a great atmosphere, the winner of its 103rd edition was dark brown filly Abha, trained by Ingrid Janáčková-Koplíková and excellently ridden by the Portuguese jockey Ricardo Sousa for the Statek Blata Český raj stable of the Dufek family.

On Sunday, May 14, the first part of this year's racing season culminated in the Chuchle Arena Prague with the opening leg of the Classic Triple Crown, the 102nd Czech 2000 Guineas, sponsored by CONSEQ. Fourteen colts and one filly took part in the one mile prestigious test for a total of 550 ths CZK, last year's junior champion Devil In Pink was the favorite of the race.

On Sunday, October 23, the penultimate raceday of this metropolitan season took place in front of a completely filled grandstand in Chuchle Arena Prague. The main race of the day, held under the auspices of the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, was turned into a sovereign triumph by the favored Vert Liberte with jockey Petr Foret. The representative of DS Pegas stable won in the 101st President Stakes (Class A, 2m, 200 ths. CZK) and stayed unbeaten in this season.

In hot weather, the top-raceday took place on Sunday, June 26, at the Chuchle Arena Prague, culminating in the 102nd CPIPG Czech Derby, the most prestigious classic test for three-year-old colts and fillies. The event took place under the auspices of the Minister of Defense Jana Černochová and the original accompanying program, prepared by the Czech Army, was well received by the audience.

The Jockey Club CR is pleased to announce to all fans of the sport of horse racing that for the first time in its history it is bringing a comprehensive video archive from the racing season, specifically from the year 2021.

On Sunday, April 3, the gates of the Chuchle Arena Prague will open for the first time this year to spectators and the new racing season will begin. The first of the eight races will start at 2 p.m., the racetrack area will be open from 12 noon. The highlight of the programme will be the 95th Tipsport Gomba Handicap, which traditionally opens the Czech racing season.

On February 21, 2022, the Board of Jockey Club voted to approve the TERM LIST 2022. Despite the complications in the previous two years, associated with covid-19, 52 racing days are planned again, so the scope of the racing season should be the same as in 2019, the last "pre-covid" year. The structure of the most important races of the season has not changed significantly.

Jockey Club of the Czech Republic is pleased to announce that after the agreement of its president Ing. Josef Bečvář with the owners of company KarBoBau s.r.o., a special championship for women Ladies' Cup will be announced again this season. So this year we will follow the interim results of the KarBoBau Ladies' Cup 2022. The whole series will be held under the same conditions as in the past, which you can see below.
